Photography is an extension of my personal being, my subconscious. We see the world through images and so it is even more important to portray the world properly – be it human or animal, living or dead, to show what is and nothing less. I do not want to recreate life through a drawing or painting. I want to capture its true essence exactly as it was through a photograph because photography captures the truth and knows no language barriers.Inspiring others and bringing to light issues through photography fills me with the sense of a greater purpose, and is my ultimate goal in my pursuit. I want to earn a place among other reputable photographers and to work alongside both newsgroups and even National Geographic. I wish to work with diverse venues and deliver the whole truth about the world through what we see through our own eyes, frozen forever in film. Words may be lost on some, but through photos the raw intention and meaning can be expressed to all audiences. I hope to deliver a central message through my photographic work, as James Nachtwey insisted, “I have been a witness and these pictures are my testimony. The events I have recorded should not be forgotten, and must not be repeated.”
